Whenever we use the words "we" or "us" or “Button Emporium“ we are referring to The Button Emporium & Ribbonry. Whenever we use the words "our web site," we are referring to http://www.buttonemporium.com.

We collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily to our web site, or through third party websites or emails, in the following ways:

When you place an order with us, we collect your name, postal address, and telephone number (both for billing and for shipping purposes), email address, and credit card information (number, type of card [Visa, MasterCard, etc.] and expiration date). This information is used solely for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Necessary measures have been taken to protect the confidentiality of the personal information you provide us. We will not release any details that you provide us with to any other businesses or individuals other than to arrange payment through our bank. As an added layer of protection, we do not have access to specific credit card information you provide, so there is no way for it to be used for fraudulent charges.


Security Information

All orders are transmitted using 128 bit encryption technology, protecting all your sensitive order details. You know your connection is secure when the URL changes from “http” to “https,” and when your browser displays a complete key or closed lock near the URL. For additional security, we process your payment and order information on machines that are not connected to the Internet.


Minimums and Shipping

Our minimum order is for five dollars ($5.00) of product. Please see our Shipping page for more info on rates, etc.


Payment Methods

The Button Emporium accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards. 


Sales Tax Information

Oregon has no state sales tax. 


Returns Or Shipping Errors

We do not accept returns unless previously authorized by The Button Emporium. If there’s a problem with your order, we can best handle it if you call us immediately at (503) 228-6372 during normal business hours Tuesday thru Friday, 10:30AM-5:30PM PST. Buyer pays return shipping on all returns, and any credits granted will not include original shipping charges. Credits may be subject to restocking charges (15%) depending on the reason for return. We make every effort to be accurate in our product descriptions and photos, and will resolve any concerns brought to our attention quickly.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns on Special Orders.


Product Quality Guarantee

Some items may be limited in quantity and are subject to quantities on hand. We try our best to maintain stock of products on our website, but we will occasionally run out and be waiting for delivery from a vender. There may be a slight variation in some products, like buttons or ribbons, because they are handcrafted. We reserve the right to change prices based on supplier costs. We will honor the prices that are listed at the time your order is placed. We guarantee all merchandise to be free of defects in materials and workmanship upon delivery. If you experience any problems with the quality of our products, please contact us via phone and we will be happy to serve you. We take pride in our work.
